Saravana.D

Saravana.D was born in Pondicherry in 1984. He has a technical qualification of the first level Certificate Course. He was working in a welding workshop and had a passion of art. Thus he joined an art class to learn drawing and painting in 2004. After which he started to make sculptures in the clay medium. Then wanting to shift to a more permanent medium he takes up working with waste iron, since it is cheaper and also because this medium was familiar to him having worked in the welding workshop. He has participated in several shows in Pondicherry, Chennai, Banglore and currently in freelancing in Pondicherry as a metal sculptor.
