Saravanan.P

Based in Cuddalore, Saravanan.P started his carrier as a banner artist, where he ran a commercial studio doing sign boards, portraits, film hoardings for about twenty years. He was exposed to books on art and seeing different shows he slowly got more inclined to pursue pure painting. While painting when the neighbouring children would pile in to see his work, he got inspired by their simplistic and playful ways of looking at life and started adapting to a child's language of looking at reality. There is an element of humour which underlies his way of looking. He has participated in several group shows in Pondicherry.
